Where It All Began

You can call me Peanuts.

My inspiration comes from everything around me—the people I love, the places I’ve been, and the memories made along the way. I’m so excited to welcome you to Nalu Fragrance.

What began as a hobby quickly became a passion. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to create custom fragrances through collaborations and pour candles for an established local brand. Those experiences deepened my love for the craft and gave me the confidence to create a brand of my own using only thoughtfully selected, high-quality ingredients.

Nalu (pronounced nah-loo) is the Hawaiian word for “wave.”

The ocean has always held a special place in my heart. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of beach days with my dad and my grandpa, and some of my most treasured photographs with them were taken by the water. The ocean has always been a place that connects me to the people I love most. The name also honors my great-grandmother, who was born in Hawaii, making Nalu even more meaningful to me.

To me, a wave represents peace, renewal, and the beauty of life’s ever-changing moments. That’s exactly what I hope each Nalu candle brings into your home.

Every fragrance is inspired by a person, a memory, a place, or a moment that has left a lasting impression on my life. My hope is that, as you burn your candle, it becomes part of your own story—creating memories you’ll carry with you long after the flame has gone out.
